Between rice fields and paradisiacal beaches
The island of the gods! Our 3-week Bali itinerary takes you from the spectacular cliffs of Uluwatu to the rice terraces of Ubud and the islands of Nusa Lembongan, Nusa Ceningan and Nusa Penida. In 21 days, you will experience beautiful beaches, exotic temples and nature that will leave you breathless.

Day 1 – 4
Uluwatu
After a long flight, there's no better place to arrive than Uluwatu. Just a short drive from the airport, this coastal town offers stunning cliff top scenery, turquoise waters and idyllic beaches that are perfect for acclimatising to the tropical warmth. If you want to get straight into the adventure, you can take your first surf lesson at Padang Padang or Dreamland Beach - the gentle waves are ideal for beginners.

Day 5 – 7
Ubud
After the relaxing beach days in Uluwatu, Ubud awaits - lively, chaotic and full of culture. The real Bali pulsates here: lively streets, mopeds, colourful markets and exotic scents from the warungs. But among the hustle and bustle, there are also green oases and spiritual retreats. The Campuhan Ridge Walk offers green tranquillity, cookery courses offer local insights and Mount Batur rewards early risers with a magical sunrise.

Day 8 – 10
Munduk
After the warm coasts, the journey takes you to the green highlands of Munduk. Green mountain landscapes, endless rice terraces and thundering waterfalls await you here. The cool air and tranquil atmosphere make Munduk the perfect place to switch off and enjoy nature in all its splendour.

Day 11
Sanur
A cute little town with lots of small shops, cosy cafés and a long beach. Sanur is also the best starting point for the crossing to Nusa Lembongan: boats leave from here several times a day and in less than an hour you are in the middle of a turquoise-blue paradise.

Day 12 – 14
Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan
If you're in the mood for pure relaxation after the wild adventures in Bali, you'll love Nusa Lembongan. The crossing to Nusa Lembongan makes the 3-week Bali itinerary particularly varied. The small island is relaxed, manageable and perfect for unwinding for a few days. There is no hustle and bustle here - just white sandy beaches, turquoise-coloured water and an atmosphere that immediately slows you down. During the day, you can lie on the fine sand or jump into the warm sea, while beach bars with fantastic sunsets await you in the evening. There are also great spots to watch the pros surfing.

Day 15 – 17
Nusa Penida
Nusa Penida is varied, full of spectacular nature and always a little adventure. The scooter takes you over bumpy roads to places that look like something out of a film. Travelling here requires a bit of a sense of adventure - the roads are often rough and the paths steep. One of the most impressive spots is Kelingking Beach - the famous T-Rex rock with its white sandy beach deep down at the foot of the cliffs. Equally unforgettable is Diamond Beach, where white limestone cliffs meet turquoise blue water. Steep steps lead down to the beach, which looks like a perfect postcard backdrop.

Day 18 – 19
Nusa Dua
Back in Bali, Nusa Dua offers a completely different side: luxury resorts, white sandy beaches and calm, clear water. The perfect place to relax at the end of your trip and be close to the airport.
