Faifoo Restaurant in Hoi An is by far the best restaurant in Vietnam. We had a delicious meal here and were given a very warm welcome. We were even told what we had to eat and how, so that it was typically Vietnamese and had the right flavour. During our stay in Hoi An, we ate here a total of three times. It's best to order typical Vietnamese food - i.e. several dishes and then share.

Located in the heart of Hanoi's Old Quarter, this café offers a mix of Western breakfast and Vietnamese classics. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service friendly and the staff speak English. An ideal place for a cosy breakfast or a relaxed brunch.
L’essence De Cuisine
This elegant restaurant in Hanoi's Old Quarter combines traditional Vietnamese flavours with modern cooking techniques. Dishes such as bun cha, pho bo and gỏi cuốn are skilfully prepared. The atmosphere is calm and stylish. The staff are also very courteous and lovingly explained to us how to assemble the rolls of the Gỏi Cuốn dish correctly.

The Home Saigon restaurant is tucked away in a small alleyway. The ambience is rustic, yet modern and cosy - perfect for a relaxed dinner. The staff are extremely friendly and courteous, making you feel immediately welcome. We can particularly recommend: Banana Flower Salad with Chicken, the Home Saigon Chicken Curry and the Pan-Seared Seabass with Passion Fruit Sauce.
