Bali offers many beautiful beaches - the choice is huge: from wild surf spots to turquoise-coloured bays and relaxed bathing oases. Some beaches are perfect for surfing or snorkelling, others invite you to relax. Here you will find the most beautiful beaches in Bali.

Diamond Beach
Diamond Beach is located on Nusa Penida and the scenery is truly impressive. Striking rocks rise out of the turquoise blue water, giving the place a very special atmosphere. The journey there by scooter is adventurous - lots of bends and bumpy roads - but definitely worth the effort. The atmosphere is particularly beautiful just before sunset, when the light is especially beautiful and there are usually not many people around.

Padang Padang Beach
Padang Padang Beach belongs to Uluwatu and is one of the most famous beaches in Bali, perfect for surfing beginners. We also booked our first surf lesson here, as the waves are ideal for beginners. We spent more time in the water than on the board, but it was great fun. Another cool thing is that during the surf lesson, local photographers take pictures of you on the board. If you like the photos, you can have them sent to your mobile phone directly afterwards via AirDrop - a great souvenir for a small fee.

Dream Beach
The Dream Beach lives up to its name. Fine, light-coloured sand, turquoise-blue water in a small bay framed by rocks. The waves here are relatively strong, so less suitable for swimming, but all the more beautiful for simply enjoying, feeling the power of the sea and taking photos. A spot that is definitely worth a visit, even if it is no longer an insider tip.

Blue Lagoon
The Blue Lagoon is by far the beach in Bali with the brightest blue water. It may not be suitable for swimming, but the scenery here is superb. It's definitely worth travelling there and taking a look at this bay. And if you're lucky, you might spot a sea turtle swimming in the blue water here and there.

Kelingking Beach
The most famous beach in Bali although it's not actually on Bali but on Nusa Penida. Of course it's a must-see, but it's best to go there in the early hours of the morning so that you can watch the sunrise in peace and don't have to deal with the crowds. Then the descent will also be a lot easier.

Bingin Beach
The best place to go in the evening is Bingin Beach in Uluwatubecause you can see the most beautiful sunsets here. The best way to do this is to enjoy a delicious dinner. Here I can recommend the Lucky Fish Lounge restaurant. It's best to take a table on the upper floor so that you can enjoy the sunset from a hill.

Nusa Dua Beach
Nusa Dua Beach is well maintained and ideal if you want a relaxing day at the beach. The water is calm and clear - perfect for swimming. The sand is fine and light-coloured, and as the beach is lined with resorts, everything looks pretty tidy and quiet.
